Zack does your 60 have a tone ring? and do you know if it will work with the ranger ABS. I was just thinking about all that, and i still have to figure out what I'm doing for speedo
nope i dont need one, abs does not work any way. get a tone ring for your driveshaft.

I'll eat crow. Looks like it will be sweet when it's done.

I take it you're running an tone ring on the d-shaft to make the 5R55E happy? Or are these trucks measured at the tranny?

EDIT: why not run a 10.25? Would have made life a bit easier IMO.

They are measured off the Tranny.

10.25 is huge... but so is the 60. I was not going to use the 60 but i got it for 20 bucks.

I'm gonna have to find me somethin like that for my D44 and (maybe even D60) build... It might just be a whole lot cheaper!!!

Find some old, dirty intact axles and just go to town on them the way I want them

Yah, but it can be sometimes cheaper than gettin JY axles though... With some JY axles you tear into the ones you buy and find out that nothing in them is good, cept maybe the carrier...

I just want someone to freakin give me a FS D44 and FS D60... Zach, you've convinced me to do a D60 lol... DAMN YOU!!!

lol Dana 60s are huge, loose alot of ground clearance, and weight a ton. I am using it because its 8 lug and matches the front width. the price helps too.

I actually have dibs on another D60 for about nothing, price wise.
