I got my rear brake lines last night and mounted them up. Just need to run the hard lines now.

Might order my rear locker today.

Order me a rear locker while you're at it. A full-carrier detroit should work nicely.

That's a good feeling on a project like this: the point you realize you REALLY do have everything you need, as opposed to all the time you THOUGHT you had everything you need...

Well, I need a front locker for the D44 now. Aussie locker or something for now to keep the price down. Should be strong enough with 35's and only a 3.0. Already have the rear locker.

Yes it is a great feeling, although i will probably remember something i forgot. I know a ton of stuff is still in the mail waiting to get here.

I am running an aussie in my 44 too, and with 37s. if it breaks it breaks i guess. lol

I believe its 10". For most 15 gallon tanks. I know the ranger pump has to be pressed against the bottom of the tank.

tank like this

I have yet to even buy a tank. lol

Here are a few pics of the rear axle. With the stainless steel brake lines and the Ruff Stuff Specialties spring perches.

the flange was from the drum brakes. the brakes arent "attached" to the full float hub, so you cant use the brakes as a reason to be confused

lol i figured someone would point that out.

Gil has it right about the bracket. when you buy the bracket you weld it to the tube all it does is holds the caliper in place. you can get some that bolt to the flange i just didnt want to spend the extra money.
