I remounted the steering box and worked on the lines and steering shaft modifications to make it better i hope. I also dropped the radiator, pulled the efan and installed the mechanical fan and shroud. Hooked all that up and assembled the loose engine stuff.

Driveshaft shortened and hooked up the 1330 yoke that I put on the D60

Whenever possible Zach, could you get a closer-up pic of the (remounted) steering box? I'm scheming remounting mine as well.. but have something else up my sleeve..

about 5 degrees give or take, i have to lift the frame about 2 more inches to put it where it should be.

i think these were only used in 76-77

That really sucks about the chain, how is everything else besides that?

 

I am not sure. you can just here the chain sloping around. i have not dropped it out yet. i have too many things going on at once so i am leaving it in there until I get to drive it. then i will drop it and figure out what i am doing with all that stuff.

comparing both cases this manual one is in much better (tighter) condition than mine. it also makes no noises.
