I have a 1987 Ford Ranger swapped with a 302/AOD combo, the truck is on a 3" body lift and rear shackles and spacers up front, on 30 9.50 15.
The black on chrome rims in the pictures are not the rims on the truck. The truck is sitting on Hercules Trail Digger M/T's on early 90's Ranger XLT 5 spoke rims. I'll throw them in for an extra 300. If you don't want them, I'll throw the ones in the pics back on, If you have a 4wd Explorer for trade, I'll keep the rims and tires for that.
She's more of a mall crawler than anything, without 4wd, it's so so off road, doesn't get stuck too often, but don't go out alone.
The motor has been converted from FI to carb, and has a Edelbrock performer 302 intake, and Edelbrock 4 barrel. Full 2.5" exhaust manifolds back, Flowmasters, no cats, she barks.
It has a Dana 28 up front, no transfer case, so no power up front. I will include a ford 3 speed and Dana 20 combo for the right price.
I love this thing and it never gets me stuck, I drive it from Cocoa to Cocoa Beach for work and the gas mileage is killing me.
I want it to go to a good home, and will not sell it to some dumb kid to go break in the woods, I want someone to finish what I can't afford to finish.
Cash talks, price is negotiable to an extent, let me know what you have, I'm interested in trades something 4wd, I'd really like an Explorer, or a manual car, 4 door, lowest I could possibly go is a contour SVT.
I would consider trades for a clean Nissan, or something on boost, no rice, no auto's. I know what I'm doing, and I know my cars. I am a used car sellers worst nightmare. :-)
I hate to let this thing go, I love it, more than one should love their vehicle, but it's my passion. Unfortunately, I can't fit a car seat in this to haul a baby around... Life calls...
The trucks a real head turner, It's pretty well known around here and will definitely get you looks. The body needs a little work, nothing major, previous owner cut the fenders at the bottom, the paint is over 5 years old, but still shines, a few spots around the bottom of the truck need attention. The flames are chameleon, looks different at every angle.

Bump.
Pat was so gracious to point out that his 2wd doesn't get stuck. Well pat, mine doesn't either, if you keep it within its boundries. So hah! I'm just saying I can't take like 38" and bigger ruts. lol
Someone buy this and finish it. I want to see this thing get done, and I can't do it, unless I keep it for another 5 years. With gas how it is, I just can't.
Unless wants to sell me a 4.0 with tranny and tcase. :-P
