1995+ Ranger in the Washington D.C. area
 

My daughter is looking for her first car and has decided she wants either a truck or SUV. We've narrowed our truck options down to the '95 (for airbags) Ranger/B-series and are hoping to find something in the D.C./Annapolis/Southern MD area. Trying to keep the budget around $1500 or so as I'm a firm believer that a cheap first car helps a new driver learn the value of appreciating what they have and maintaining it appropriately. Drive train is not as important as overall condition, but we're not afraid of a little project either. We enjoy spending time together and she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. Open to 4 or 6 cyl, manual or auto. My preference would be for a 4 cyl, 5-speed as I believe that combo to be the most trouble free. Extended cab preferred, but not required.

Anyone got one for sale in the target area?
