1996 Ford Ranger 5.0 V8 - $$6,000

Category: Clean Title
Status: Domestic

I have a 1996 Ford Ranger 5.0 V8 for sale, in USA - Georgia.

Engine Size: v8

Asking price is $$6,000

I have a 1996 Ranger that I have installed a 97 5.0 out of an Explorer into. The swap took nearly 18 months to complete. I spared no expense in installing the engine and it looks as though it came from the factory with it. It averages 20+ MPG's. This is a Fast Ranger, and its a daily driver! I have done only a few mods to the engine which is basically a Cobra platform...Trick flow upper/ lower intake, Python 19lb injectors, BBK 19lb Maf, 75mm Throttle body, BBK Air intake, Gt40 P heads, 1.6 RR's, Liquid filled fuel pressure gauge, SCT X3 Flash Tuner with three custom tunes from Rogue Performance. I would estimate the Horse power to be around 245Hp. The truck has tons and tons of news parts installed...Autometer Phantom gauges( Oil,water, Trans temp, Tach) 20" KMC stealth wheels, FlowMaster Delta Mufflers, Lakewood Traction Bars, Djm Ibeams with Belltech shocks, 31 spline 8.8 with 3.73 gears, 4-wheel Disc Brakes, Mountaineer Bumper w/ Fogs, 30% Tint all around, 8,000k HIDs, Leds bulbs all around, 2002 Expo Leather Seats, 2001 Ranger Dash & interior plastics, 2002 Expo Console, Custom Carpet, Expo Cluster, 2009 Mirrors, JVC Head Unit, 4-6.5" Kicker door speakers, 2-Kicker 8" Comp Subs, Jbl tweeters & Jbl 600 watt amp, Billet upper/lower grill, Headlights, Smoked Tailights, Balljoints, Tie Rods, Brake Calipers, Custom Aluminum Drive Shaft, Heater Core, Pendaliner bed liner....you name it and I replaced it and I have a ton of receipts totaling over $8,000 not including labor. The ONLY thing this truck needs to make it show worthy is a new hood, minor body work for a few dings and a paint job. I also have a complete new in the box A/C system(compressor, canister, orifice tube and o-rings) including a new lower hose and old upper hose that needs to be installed (along with a longer serpentine belt). I have a B&M shift kit and lots of spare parts that will go with the truck. I have lots of extra parts that go with the truck! It turns heads everywhere I go and I get tons of questions about it. I have 3 extra 20" Bf Goodrich tires that will go with the truck along with lots of different parts I have from the swap. I have lots of pictures of this swap if you want to see more. I have a Clean & Clear Title in hand! I will entertain trades, but I'd like to trade for a 90-93 Mustang Coupe. Text Me 706-897-2367

It took a little work and I would'nt do it again! But I had already bought the seats long before I tried to install them. I basically had to rip everything out from underneath the expo seats....measure alot and weld the Ranger seat tracks to the Expo seats. I didnt worry with making them adjustable since the space is limited in the Ranger cab. I set them up where the seats are all the way back.

That's what I figured. It sucks that aren't bolt it. The seats are nice looking and a far easier to come by now.

Yeah they are nowhere near bolt in and they sit up a little higher than the earlier Expo seats...I like them But if I had to do it over I would go with Mustang seats.

I put it on Ebay..which was a waste of time and its been on Craigslist for a while. I love the truck and would like to keep it, but I want a Mustang to play with and still be able to cruise with the Wife and kids.
