1988 Ford Ranger - $950 O.B.O

Category: Clean Title
Status: Domestic

I have a 1988 Ford Ranger for sale, in USA - California.

Engine Size: 2.9

Asking price is $950 O.B.O

Hey guys as sad as it makes me I'm putting my 1988 Ford Ranger up for sale. It is a 2.9L v6 ext cab, 2wd with an auto trans. My grandpa bought it brand new. Unfortunately it is a 5th vehicle for me currently so it needs to go. I planned on doing a v8 swap in it but I already have 3 cars/trucks as projects/fun cars (including my 02' which needs to be lifted badly) lol. To be honest I don't remember how many miles it has on it. I will get that info up tomorrow. (It's to cold to go look right now.) The truck is pretty clean for what it is. Interior is in about the same condition. (Pretty clean). It's still an 88' so it's not amazing. Either way it has been a good truck.

If you have any questions I would be more than happy to answer any and all of them.

Since this is a public forum I am not going to add a telephone number or email. If you would like to get a hold of me just PM me and I will write you back as soon as I can.
-As I said I will put the miles up when I look at the truck tomorrow.

-I will also try and put up better pictures of it too.

I live in Sacramento, CA

The price is $950 O.B.O

My name is Joe.

Thanks. :-)

Ehhh I doubt I'd be able to. My grandpa bought it brand new. He kinda picked it out for me. lol I told him he needed a red truck. (I was 6). lol He didnt need a fullsize so he ended up getting the ranger.

I need it for a wheels/frame/transmission/engine.. you can have the rest.

It'd become a reproduction armored car.

Figured I should bump this since it's been about 6 months ago from the last post. lol

Still for sale.

Not gonna lie thought the price is now at 850obo. Now I'm not really in a hurry to sell it like I was. :-P I'd still go pretty cheap on the truck though. :-D

I really want it, but I don't think I'm close enough for it to be worth it.

I tried to do a google search on how long/far it would take you too get here but I'm not sure where your truck is parked. :-/

We will see my friend. We will see. haha
Text me. For the time being I think I'm going to have my gf drive it until we find her a new car. (Unless we sell it.) lol Just sold hers and now we are on the hunt. It needs a fan clutch + fan I guess. I'm just gonna pick and pull it. Probably throw a fuel filter in there too just for the hell of it. It just got a tune up. It has a rebuilt trans. Probably done about last year? My uncle had it done so I'm not sure the date. In the picture you can see the bottom of the bed in the rear is dented up a bit. Not to bad but it is an imperfection. That's all I can think of that's wrong with it.
