1995 Ford Ranger Splash...29,000 miles. - MT

Hello All,

I have been a Ford Ranger enthusiast since the 1990’s and have owned two over that time period. Although I would prefer not to sell this one, desperate times call for desperate measures. I have toyed with the idea of dropping in a screaming SB 289/302 in the past, but I find it tough to carve on a virgin like this one. Here is what I have:

1. 1995 Ford Ranger Splash, Ext. Cab, 4.0l V-6 engine, 5-speed, 2WD.
2. 29,000 miles…not a mistype.
3. How original?
a. Original tires (the wide 235’s)!
b. Original wiper blades!
c. Seat covers when new!
4. Always kept in a heated garage.
5. It has never seen snow.
6. Modifications:
a. Bug deflector when new.
b. Borla SS exhaust at 1,500 miles (still have original too).
c. Mud flaps.
d. Rhino bed liner.
e. Color match topper.
f. Full undercoating when new.
g. Full Scotch Guard when new.
h. Full synthetic oil in diff. and trans.
i. Momo leather shift ****.
j. All rubber floor mats (still have original Splash mats).
k. Dash cover when new.

If you are interested, please shoot an e-mail and I will send pictures and answer any questions you might have.

Thanks,
Mike (mjalkeenan@gmail.com)

it does sound like a nice truck, and I agree with what Israel said, along with a price that would help to give people an idea of what your looking to get for it.

This is by no means a positive selling point.

"Original tires (the wide 235’s)!"

Why didn't you take advantage of ford free replacement of the OEM firestone tires on all trucks 10 years ago? Even ignore that, the tires are still 16 years old.

Gents,

I thought you could view my profile and see the location. Nonetheless, I am located in Billings, MT and could help with delivery if needed. If you are near, please contact me to take a look. I bought this truck new from Beaverton Ford in Oregon.

Form of payment...anything that is not a scam. Cash, check, PayPal. I think the truck is worth 10k, as it is just as good as new, but with less insurance and license cost. It has always been stored inside and I mean always.

If the truck was a 4x4, it would have higher miles, but still be pristine.

Tires...I have a new set of BF's (stock 235/60R15) that could go with the truck.

Feel free to call me if you have any questions...406-254-1422.

Thanks,
Mike

what about pics?

as far as the truck being worth $10K, i seriously doubt it, KBB retail for that truck is $5K, not trying to dog your truck, but in this economy, that truck would bring 3-5K on a good day

Yep, the price is high, but I am looking for an enthusiast. Here are a few pics.

that does look really nice. Does it leak or anything? I would be worried about lot rot.

You shouldn't have any trouble getting close to what you want for it. Been sitting on it 16 years...a little longer wont hurt. Good luck

Nice truck you got there. I think what you're asking is reasonable, all things considered. I'd love to ****** this up, but I would feel bad not having a garage to put it in, and it would probably get neglected while I'm off at college.

No leaks at all, as it does get driven a a few hundred miles each year. Change oil every 9 months, as I never hit the 3000 mile mark. I will keep it if no one bites.
