2002 Ford Ranger 104k GIVE OFFERS
Some know the truck some don't.
I'm going to buy a new truck within the week, so heres the deal. I got offered 4k for trade in...if anyone wants to give me more than that (no lowballing please) I will be selling it privately. If not, then I am trading it in, it does sweeten the deal a little bit.
It's a 2002 ford ranger 3.0 edge 2wd supercab 4d. Starting from the front of the truck working back exterior wise: Billet Grill, black headlights, shorty antenna, OHC, trans temp gauge, oil pressure gauge, cb, alpine HU, herculiner, hurculined flares, front/rear hitches, reverse lights, all new ball joints/tie rods/bearings/brakes, k&n drop in filter, SCT programmer, magnaflow exhaust, new 02 sensor in rear, transmission rebuilt to higher specs, new u joints, diff cover
I am probably leaving a lot out.
it sits on 35" bfg MT's on 15x10 MT Classic II's with a 3" spindle, 3" body lift, stiffest tbars, new shocks, AAL, chevy shackle, 4.88 gears.
Truck just rolled 104k miles, has had synthetic oil in it almost all it's life, I tried motorcraft 3 times now and not satisfied with the oi life.
the bad: needs an alignment, cruise control buttons are broken but still work, front seats dont' match rear (front are out of 03 ranger), it could use new leafs in the rear...but not that big of a deal, the OHC needs to be redone, the side door panels I painted could be repainted (I also have paint). there is a bad scratch on the right side, scratches and chips on the front hood and sides...just shows its age.
It has had water in the cab, I had to replace the trans because of it, that was 40k miles ago and haven't had problems since. Only problem I had was a CEL and fuel gauge acting up which fixed itself.
Everything else is good, I'm debating keeping it as a DD to keep miles off the new truck but I know I'd never drive it...
DOES ANYONE WANT PARTS OFF THE TRUCK? IT IS JUST GOING TO THE AUCTION SO ANYONE WANTS TO TRADE PARTS OR BUY THINGS LET ME KNOW AND I'LL LET YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I WANT TO DO

yes, going with a 150 probably, found one just a fresh trade in for 26k with 27k miles or visa vesa milage and price are almost the same. They are coming down a little but either way it is a good deal

I don't have a stock one, if it comes to it I may part out the truck...which i DO NOT want to do but it might be worth it...

won't happen until at least monday, the truck that I want was a fresh trade in from yesterday, they are cleaning it up, replacing a few little things and doing all the maint on it

Don't forget that in Florida you deduct the amount they give you for the trade from the price of the new vehicle before you pay taxes. That is a benefit over selling privately. Tax on 4k is $280. I'll trade you wheels and tires if you do trade it in.

Ok guys I have to clear this up. Anyone willing to trade stock stuff has to do this ASAP, and it has to pretty much be local unless it is little stuff. All deals have to be closed by monday, I'm going in the dealership. I'm also going to another dealer tommorow to see what they can do for me. This might be gone. Its a shame but I just can't pay insurrance for 2 vehicles and wait around until one sells...just not feasible. I'll take the couple thousand dollar hit...worth it in the long run.
I really want to put it on stock suspension and wheels tires, which also means swapping the axle. The whole problem with doing this is that my truck has already been appraised and they have already seen it. I don't want them to revoke the offer at this point...
I'm really looking to sell the entire truck, I dont' want to be left with a half parted out half not truck. I think I can get just about 3k just in parts, I really can trade wheels tires, lift, body lift, rear end, I still have sub box for sale, and little things like the SCT, k&n drop in, etc
edit: I was offered 4k by the dealership, so if anyone can beat that...pretty much it's sold. I really dont' care at this point, I think i could get 6 for it, but it's not worth the hassle, it all dissolves int he payments. I'm sick of the truck, it's not doing me any good but a headache.
SOMEONE JUST GIVE ME THE CASH AND YOU GET THE TITLE!!!!
