I'm in Cleveland, OH, willing to travel up to say 150-200 miles. year isn't too important to me. my max budget is $4000 cash for a Ranger. I think for that price I should be able to find one with minimal rust in pretty good shape. I'm ok with high-ish miles as long as the thing was taken care of properly. Thanks!

 

Did you find one? I have a 2002 Edge 4x4 with about 135-140K miles. Standard cab though. Repaired all leaks when I bought it two years ago. Timing cover gasket, new timing chain, gears, water pump, pulleys, rear main seal, and had transmission rebuilt by AAMCO. New Truxedo cover, PIONEER AV Radio with Sirius, and back up cam. It has a little rust on the cab corners but otherwise in great shape. 4 new michelins and 4 bilstein shocks. I bought a new Tacoma and they offered me $2500 sight unseen for it but I said no way. Transmission and rear main cost me $2700. I would probably take $4k.
