1993 Ford Ranger 4.0 4x4
 

Hello and good morning...
i own a Ford Ranger 4.0 4x4 and it was given to me free of charge , it wasn't ran in awhile (years) so i started from scratch , a little history on the fix , removed the gas tank and pressure washed the inside and out , replaced fuel pump , moving forward i unhooked fuel lines , cleaning them out , new fuel filter on to the motor...new idle air control valve , new TPS , new Mas Airflow , new plugs and wires , new fuel injectors , new fuel pressure regulator...i think thats everything ive replaced BUT i have a rough idle , tach pulsates between 800rpm and 1200rpm...a little confused...
i.e i did use an air gun to clean out fuel pressure regulator so did i damage it by forcing air into it ?..any help is good help....thank you sincerely

Why would you clean the new fuel pressure regulator????
