one suggestion maybe:shrug: the 30 second wait between searches is a pain.......is there a way to remove that?

Wow, it feels better to have that back. (I'm weird, I know...lol)

I have seen other boards that have it so contributors don't have to wait, just the regular folks do. Maybe we could do something like that?

i just added the 30 second search. it needs to stay that way. our site is growing so much that we're using so many resources, no matter how efficient the board is.

we need less queries, so there will be 30 seconds between searches.

C not sure if you know this or not but the User CP link is missing in the upper left.

it's available in 'quick links' on the navbar and also on the home.php you'll see it at the top left.

i moved it to kinda give the navbar a different look.

unfortunately with massive site growth, we have to skim back on certain things...

it's not an issue of "affording" it, but our server handling it.

we are on a top of the line hosting service, but thousands of people doing thousands of things will run a server hard.

I dont like how if you search for something and try to go to active topics it wont let you for 30 seconds
