Am I imagining things? Need input from you members.
 

Am I imagining things, or does the site seem to be slowing down? I've noticed speed issues specifically when coming in through the main page, but I'm pretty sure I'm noticing them elsewhere. Need to know if anyone else seems to be experiencing the same thing.

not usually, sometimes the main page takes a while when first try to get one

yeah it takes alot longer than usual for the main page to load lately

yeah skot i actually have noticed the main page loads a bit slow but then everything else works fine.. you're not imagining things haha...

Im on a T3 cable line and its takin a long time to load.. noticed it bout a week ago.. my other websites are fast as hell lol

nope its only this site too. it acks extreamly slow when coming into the home page for me. it isnt slow to open threads its slow to post, its slow when returning to active topics. I was acully gettin fed up with it and just about to post in here to see if it was just me...good thing i noticed this thread...

yes and it started for me around mon i think...beginning of the week...

i haven't been able to access the site all day until now. None of the pages would load, everything would just time out.

same here I'm usuing high-speed too :indiffere been like this for about a week

Yes yes yes! big time....I was going to start a new thread on this but I put it off.

I thought it might have been my computer but it's the same on my girlfriends brand new computer.

It takes a really long time to load and to click on new posts...takes forever

Okay. I'm going to do some database work either today or tomorrow. I need to get a full backup of it before I can do that.

It's possible.. Although I don't necessarily think that's the case.. I think it's just the database needing maintenance.. Problem is, I can't remember any of the creds, and I can't find the spreadsheet I had 'em in, so I gotta wait for C or the site host to get back to me.. Oops..

Yea it's slow for me, and I noticed a few time when I'd open certian post they would be nothing but code and other's would be normal..

i only use active topics to search but it does take a little while longer to get that to open... and scrolling down screens it will freeze for a second and then go on like normal...

i get an average load time of 14-28 seconds on loading the home page

for the past few days ive had problems getting the website to load and it takes about 25-30 sec for pages to load (when it does).
but it seems to be better today.
maybe its when theres alot of user on? :shrug:

The site has been MUCH slower to load lately. The splash page slowed down alot when the random image deal was put on, and then the actual home page has been abysmally slow the past few weeks. I was wondering if something might be wrong with the servers or something.
