When I visit this site, and click on "view posts since last visit". I get a listing of postings in order.

Is there any way to GROUP them into categories, instead of individual threads? :idea:

php is not set up to do any categorizing by "categories"...

not yet, at least...

i am daily looking for more upgrades and ways to make the site better...

remember, it has only been open 1 week... lol

Dude, saying the site will get better is not entirely accurate. Saying it will get better, implies there is something wrong with it the way it is...

You have done a fine job here, and for what it's worth, my wife and I are proud of you for doing this...

and don't let your grades slip either...if you get over your head, step back and let your Mods handle more of the load:)

 

There is a categories heirarchy mod, but I don't know if it will do what was asked. I know it will give you subforums, but not sure about the "view last posts".

And yeah, the site is great like it is. There is nothing wrong with adding new things, but just remember, it takes a while to add all of the upgrades you want. I am glad that you are incorporating them yourself and didn't use one of the pre-modded boards.

there are alot of mods to it...

some people jsut have no idea how plain a "stock" php board is...

quick reply, for example... has to be added on... and dozens of the other most frequently used features...

 

Yeah, I have hacked up my share of phpbb2 boards. It isn't bad to do, just very time consuming. I have added a lot to my phpbb2 board, but only what I think I might enjoy and need.
