its because you are not logged in. you need to log in to not see ads. the ads are a new way to help pay for hosting

I keep clicking the top of the page where it says 'ranger-forums.com' to go back to the main page and it's not coming up, I just goes to the list of different forums.

That worked, but it comes up when you click it. I don't want to type the address in every time I want to go to the main page.

The logo directs you to the forum index, where Home directs you to the homepage.

It used to bring me to the homepage when i clicked the logo.. i had to click 'Forums' to get to the forum list..
