I have seen this on a large number of other forums.
It's a forum that someone contacts a company about a product of high demand on the site and by having 10 or more (per se) users purchase the item(s) together you can sometimes get incredible deals. I have seen headers, shifters, etc... at steep discounts.

I like this idea. RRFX4, it could be for anything: headers, tires, pulleys, whatever. Basically though it's forum to coordinate and offer them.
The only thing that I'm going to recommend is that it's there for that, but it isn't something that the site sponsors the group buys, so they'd be at your own risk. But, that's pretty standard anyway unless you are well funded anyway.
