Guage cluster

I’m new here, and I recently purchased a 1996 Ranger 2.3 with an automatic but it was 5 speed swapped, the lights on the cluster work but only the battery volts guage works wondering if anyone knows of this has to do with the 5 speed swap and can help me.

Welcome to the forum

No, nothing to do with the swap unless fuses were blown

In 1996 cab fuse box, fuse 11, 15, 25 and 33 are used for cluster

You can get 1996 Owners Manual here: https://www.ranger-forums.com/genera...1-models-3747/

To get fuse box diagrams

Your 1996 cluster can be replaced with 1996 to 2003 Ranger cluster, plug and play, can even use one with a Tachometer, if you don't have that now, wire is there
Automatics didn't usually have a Tach, manuals did
