Headlight Adjustment

Headlight Adjustment

I apologize for probably asking a question that's been covered a million times.I just joined this forum, and I didn't see a place to search.but I have bought a 2002 Ranger Edge..and I installed just today new headlight assemblies..and I was curious how to adjust them....where the adjustment screws are and the procedure..thsnks so much

There should be black plastic squares with screws sticking out on the corners of the headlights.When installing them make sure the screws are positioned in the up position. Use a 10mm nut driver or a phillips screwdriver to raise or lower the beams. I just maxed mine as high as I could get on low beams. Seems aftermarket lights won't raise as high as stock headlights but are satisfactory. I just used the white garage door at night to see the beams. There are several video's on YouTube on adjusting them.

yea my aftermarkets I had to darn near adjust them nearly all the way up and the bottom 2 all the way out. Kind of a pain and alot of just playing around but will get acceptable. make sure they arent all crosseyed. get the height adjusted at a garage door or wall then slowly back away, should just grow in size and not start drifting one way.
