Welcome to the forum

Does the 3rd brake light work, the one on the cab?

If so then check fuses 38 and 42 in ENGINE fuse box, they are for rear turn/stop lights, but rear turn signals should also not work

If 3rd brake light also doesn't work then double check fuse 19 in CAB fuse box, and then test the Light Green wire coming out of brake like switch for 12v with pedal pressed
The brake pedal switch is actually 2 switches inside, the light green/red stripe is 12v IN from fuse 19, light green is the 12v OUT to bulbs
There is another 12v wire at the brake pedal switch from fuse 32(Cab) it is for a brake pedal sensor, for cruise, shifting out of Park, 4low, ect.........
So make sure you are testing the right wires for 12v

The rear brake light's light green wire runs to the multi-function switch(turn signal stalk)
If turn signals are OFF then the 12v runs out on 2 wires to the fuses(38/42) then to each side of bed
When turn signal is ON the brake light 12v is cut off on that side so bulb can flash, but its still hooked up on the other side for brake light function
So pretty simple, but 3rd brake light is not effected by this, it has its own wire to brake pedal switch

If both rear turn signals work then bulbs and wires from multi-function switch to rear are good
If no rear Brake lights then light green wire from pedal switch to multi-function switch is bad
If all 3 brake lights don't work then no 12v at fuse 19, or no 12v out of brake light switch

And just a heads up
"New" does NOT mean "it works", we are 30 years too late for that, quality control was out the window by 1990, labor was too expensive
"new" now means "YOU TEST IT, and we will replace it if it doesn't work"

So heads up on new parts, these have never ever......ever been touched by human hands, lol

My 07 ranger will not go in drive or reverse but will shift

My truck will get up to 4000 rpms and will not move at all as if it’s lost power. It has 200k miles and when I bought it has never been serviced, could it be the transmission filter?

Welcome to the forum

No not the filter

Will it move forward if you move the shifter down to 1st or 2nd gear?

And pull out the dip stick and smell the fluid, see if its nice red color or dark red and smells burnt
Also check level engine OFF
And check it engine running, should be much lower with engine running, that means pump is working

Then most likely issue is the one-way clutch(sprag) is broken, requires a full tear down to replace, so full rebuild
Or used replacement transmission
Its a mechanical failure not solenoid or fluid pressure related
