My car is smoking from the passenger side under the bonnet I will attach some pictures I need help identifying the part and is someone can tell me why it is smoking I have no over heating issues or anything like that

It is the silver Uber with the two pipes on it is not hot to touch but some comes out of it and around it

I have looked up the part I can’t find anything

 

appears to be part of the cooling system as it has the charge port on it.

Is this a diesel engine?

You are in England so our trucks in North America can be quite different, like we had no diesel engines
