magnaflows are the equivalent to audiobahn in car audio....garbage..My flow was 160 bucks installed. Borlas are awesome just really pricey

I read that gibson can make your truck sound really ricey and i bet thats what no one wants

My friend has a 98 with a 3.0 and a gibson single in dual out exhaust. It sounds ok. Has a nice rumble at idle (just a little deeper than stock). I don't know what it's like when you really get on it though. Not really that much different than my stock 4.0 though. And when it's reved it sounds decent. I like my flow a lot better though.

Gibson was the most restrictive exhaust on the chart. It was worse than stock. |
Have any of you ever heard a dynomax exhaust i want to know if they sound nice or not

Magnaflow is what I have, and I love it. It's loud enough for my taste, and it provides a little extra power when combined with my intake and tuner. I would recommend it to anyone.
|
how loud is the borla in the cab?
|
I've got a Gibson, if you get the stainless it sounds pretty good. There is a noticable difference in stainless vs. carbon steel. Little more pricey though.

You want borla is you want badass sound.....And Performance!

today i just got my flowmaster super 40 put on and its sounds awesome. It has a nice idling tone and when you stomp on it it sounds pretty good. i got it with a 2 1/2 pipe in and out with a 3 in tip. it sounds nice and looks nice too.

Exhaust is generally prefernec based. As you can tell from previous posts some people like what they have, and some denounce other brands. Magnaflow isn't junk, and generally speaking most people that even OWN Flowmaster admit they are only good for being loud...and aren't known for power gains.
