I’ve got a 2004 ranger. Standard trans 6 cylinder
i broke down on the road and found my DPFE sensor melted and resting on a plug wire
i read up on the issue and common thought was that when the EGR valve goes bad it can fry the DPFE sensor

ive replaced: EGR Valve, DPFE sensor, spark plug wires

now I go to start the truck and it acts like it isn’t getting fuel

I have 40 miles on a newly installed fuel pump however the needle on the gas guage does not read .


any ideas here ?
