If all the forums counted I would have around 2500. The Member Classifieds, Vendors Classifieds,T-Shirts-logos-& Decals, off-topic, Blow_off Valve, Playground, and the Religious and political forums don't add to your post number.

I guess it lets other know who is really involved in the site and who has been around a while. It also tells you who has no life and spends all day on RF **coughcough Redneckstone coughcough**

I have been on this site a long time... A lot longer than a few with 1000 posts... But my post count is low... Does that mean I am a newbie or have a low rank? I have always thought of the post counter as a nuisanse.... Just b/c it is high means nothing but one thing... You post a lot. Does not mean you know anything about anything. Me I know nothing but a few things, therefore my post is count is low. I like to think that when I DO post it is worth while and not to increase my "rank" or status b/c I have 12000 posts in here.

The post count is 100% accurate. All post counts did end up carrying over from the original R-F phpbb software.

Some sections of this site the post counts do not add up in. Off-Topic and a few others. Basically, where people postwhore the most.

Post count and Join Date is pretty much there for a reference. Does it tell you a little something about the person? Sometimes. Take it how you want to.

I wouldn't think though, just because you see someone w/ a few stickies or a high post count that they know everything.

Who cares anyway? Worry about threads, etc. Not your freaking post count.

It's not the quantity of your posts, but the quality of your posts.
