he is a very knowledgeable member, knows alot of tech stuff that will help him with the how-to section and will be an asset to our admin/mod team.
an exerpt from our rules:
"Abuse towards admins or moderators will not be tolerated. This is not a rule to test your limits on."
i'm glad to have Andrew helping us out and we should all appreciate the time and effort that all moderators put in to make this site a better one.

it seems to me that in order to be a moderator, you must be in some sort of "cliq" with the owner or other moderators. because "new" moderators just seem to pop up every now and then. if I were the administrator, i'd send out a thread sort of "advertising" that i was in search of a moderator, what type and what was expected, then people interested could send their qualifications to me.
i wouldn't want to be a moderator, i'd just like the fact that everyone can have a chance at becoming one.

Regardless, everyone does have a chance to become a moderator. It's all about how you present yourself and distinguish yourself here. You never know when we're looking, so it behooves anyone who wants to be one to be on their best behavior.
