Referal

I was wondering if when some one joins RF they are able to put down if some one referred them to RF?

If not what are the chances we could get that

I know there are at least 5 people to join this past month that I told them about the site

One in fact hasn't even introduced him self yet

I'm sure it could be done. Just not sure what the purpose would be.

I think one of the good things about R-F that makes it so much better than other forums is the COMPLETE LACK of rating type things to set people apart. Post counts are not shown for that very reason. I've never seen post counts and ratings results in anything good anywhere.

Just a trader feedback rating... we have this on all other sites. eBay has done well with it.

I don't see the point unless your trying to gain brownie points.

another forum i'm on has a rep section, and it tore the board apart. people whining about negative rep blah blah... it's just a number dont get your panties in a wad.

post count is normally a good indicator if someone knows what they are talking about. i would liek to be able to see that. but there are always exceptions to the rule.. with post ******!

on a different board i run, we have the rep system. have only had it for like 3 months and im about to take it down because it seems like thats all people do is bicker about how someone else got rep and they didnt. its honestly very dumb and it shouldnt be on a site other than maybe as a buy/sell/trade rating system. thats about it
