Okay, so I have a 99 Mazda B3000. I'm working on trying to remove my EGR pipe, but there's a rod on my steering setup that's preventing me from applying enough pressure to bust the nut loose on the pipe. I am attaching an image pointing to both the nut on my EGR pipe (which my index finger is pointing to), and the rod in my way (which my middle finger is pointing to). My question is if i remove the bolt at the top of that rod to drop it and have more room to work, will there be any difficulties in reattaching that rod without messing up my steering. Thank you!!
