sorry if i sound rude, but i believe mods should have: over 3,000 posts and have been a member of R-F for at least 3 years. (this shows loyalty) one cannot go into a company as a new hire and say "i've been here for 10 months and don't work that much, but i'd like to be on the board of directors" Also, mods need to be over 30 years old
Mods should be not picked due to their having a lifted truck with big tires. It seems like that is the rule: "in order to be a mod, you need a lifted truck with huge tires"

name me (with proof) one mod with a normal stock, or non lifted or Lowered ranger that is or was a moderator.

i'm just venting because i didn't see any "Moderator vote" thread.

so where do i come in? i dont have over 3,000 posts. shoot, i didnt even have 1,000 posts when i was made moderator. but ive been here longer than the average grumpy person on here. what you see, and what is true, are totally different things. perception over the internet sometimes get a little blurred.

why 30 years old...there are plenty of guys up here that are <30 and know a crap load of information and such, i dont see you think they should be 30 years old or older...? i dont see why it matters, mods are no different than anyone else as long as they dont abbuse their powers. to me i think it should be a public vote. people enter and then WE vote...that way when WE ***** and complain about a mod, then all Beard has to say is: ya'll voted them in...."

we will never vote in a moderator. sorry, people are chosen to what best fits our needs. IMO, these are well chosen mods. Obviously you dont agree.

fireranger has a stock truck when he was a mod
scottg had a lower truck

it has nothing to do with their truck, it has to do with their attitude and effort they put into the site.

i am not going to pick some grumpy complaining person, sorry.

the 30 and old is pointless as well, so when im 29 and 364 days, im not good enough to be a mod but at 29 and 365 I am?? yeah right.

You made Stone a Mod!

Seriously, who would want the Job, I am on here Daily and I would not be if I had Complaints filling up my inbox. Glad there are people that want it.
