why are the posts so old. messaged a member in answer to his post and the parts he advertised were long gone, like 10 years? How can you get more current data?

 

Well Rangers were sold from 1983 to 2012, so already 10 years since last one was sold
New style is 2019 to current, but nothing like the old style, outside of having 4 wheels and a bed, lol

Threads are dated for when the member had the problem, say 2011 date and the problem was with a 1995 Ranger
If you had a similar problem with your 1995 Ranger then answers in that thread may help you, or may not, the fact they are 10 years old doesn't matter, the Vehicle(1995) is 26 years old, so nothing "current"(2021) matters/applies, as the current Rangers are completely different

What the usual problem is with threads(in all help forums), the original member that started the thread NEVER comes back to post "what worked" to fix the problem, and that happens ALOT
So people with similar year Ranger and similar problem can't see "what fixed it"

Even if a thread was started yesterday and you messaged the member asking for "what was the fix" they may or may not respond, that's up to them, not you or "us"
