Heck with it I'm going to vote towards my '84. It's given me less trouble than the '99, and although I rarely drive it I could jump in it, fire it up, and go anywhere.

Edit: That is until I tear apart the old truck sometime next month (hopefully).

I had an '88 2WD Super Cab about 12 years ago, that's the one that made me fall in love with the rangers. I currently own a '92 2WD regular cab & just got a 2000 4x4 4WD 4 door about 3 months ago. The '92 is damn near bullet proof (214,000 miles & it's got AT LEAST 100,000 more left on her). I'm hoping the 2000 is just as reliable. We'll see if she holds up.

Oh yeah, I voted for the 2000.
