Ford Ranger Forum~ Not So Great

For future reference to all contemplating a membership here,
The site, fordrangerforum.com , is a very terrible forum to use, the admin is a jerk and there is very un trustworthy advice that is distributed. DO NOT JOIN other than to troll, where you'll likely be banned forever, or more importantly be a contributor.

This ones not much better lmfao.
All the ranger forums are ****, except the ranger station.

Wanna know why? because its all the same damn members on them. Same mods, etc.

It's definitely more active, but I don't necessarily consider that a good thing. It's full of bad information, non-educated guessing, and general BS. I come here for accurate information. I hardly go there because I can BS on chat here.. I don't need to read a year old 1600 post build thread filled with teenagers talking about stuff they can just text each other for. You used to be able to get good information there... good example.. the Mustang GT disc brake swap thread on here vs there.. same info in the beginning, that one is full of 40 pages of the same questions over and over again, and nobody really having the right answer.

I've never really actively engaged in TRS.. Pretty sure I just go there for the tech articles, which.. while somewhat outdated, are pretty stellar. FRF is full of teenage newbs doing "mods" to their 3rd gen POS rangers.

this is true, but for me its about the community, yes frf is super active and has a lot of bs on it but im still on both, the build threads here are of higher quality, but when i start on a project and i need help, its easier to have someone close by come and offer assistance.

the closes guys to me on here is taylor and seed60, pretty sure im too far for them to come hang out and ranger it up for a day.

all i got to say is im on both, not knocking either one of them, theyre both good in different sense

i almost lost totm to a guy who had just bought a truck, plastidipped the rims and lowered it with stock rims. kinda pissed me off
