Pros: they lock and you can hide stuff in the bed, They look amazing, sturdy.
Cons: Pain if you need to put in a dirt bike or large objects, pain to remove, shocks dont last long, if the truck is old the tonneau cover wont match perfectly.

pro, can sleep in the bed.

i agree with the big objects. we went camping when we were younger, i was the "little guy" and i always hit my head on the ceiling getting gear out. so that would be a con....

pro: privacy, locks the tailgate, keeps stuff dry.
con: weight (sometimes)

mine comes off very easy. takes me about a minute to get it off. just pop the shocks off and slide it off.

well tonneau covers are pretty nice and gives you the opertunity to lock the tail gate, some come off pretty easy , and some connopy's have windows and things that make it possible to sleep in it etc, the con's that i see are that both of them close off the bed and therefore remove the negitive pressure zone behind the cab that helps with gas milage

I have an ARE locking tonneau. Fiberglass is very light, one person could move it, but I prefer two people just because it is bulky and I'm fairly small (5'5" 125lbs). Mine is held on by 4 clips, unscrew one allen bolt on each and it lifts off. The shocks and locking mechanism all still function perfectly, it was a factory order so it has been on the truck for 105K miles. When I moved to Ohio I packed all my stuff under it, locked it, and set on my way. Did the same thing when I moved back. It was nice because I could pack lightweight or expensive items in there and not worry about them blowing away or being stolen. It also looks good.

Very nice, highly recommended and well worth the money (although mine came on the truck).
