Icon13 Scan Gauge!

I got my Scam Gauge for Christmas and I wasn't working right. I sent them a couple emails back and forth and we figured out what the problem was. On some Ford vehicles it has a hard time connecting. It wasn't a make or year it was just random ford vehicles. They said to send it in and that they would fix it and send it back to me.

I shipped it in on Jan 5th. Included in the package I wrote my name, address, email address, and cell phone number and asked that I be contacted when they receive it. I didn't hear anything from them for a couple weeks so I sent them an email and asked if it was received and what was going on. I got a response saying that they were waiting for a component that they had to add to the system board to come in. I said ok and to keep me updated on what was going on.

Well as of Monday I have gotten nothing. No emails no scam gauge, nothing. So I sent another email to them asking what was going on. Today is Saturday and I still haven't heard anything from them. I'm pretty pissed off about this. When I sent it in they should have emailed me and said it was received and what the situation is. If I would have known about all of this crap I would have returned it and taken my money and spent it else where.

Don't be lazy. Pick up the phone and call them. The great thing about e-mail is you can reply when you want. If you call on the phone, they'll have to tell you something short of hanging up in your face.

Yeah I wonder what the deal with them is? I had my scangaugeII firmware updated for free and from the time I shipped my unit to the time I got it back was one week. The people from scangauge seemed nice enough to me.

Your the only one I've heard that has had a problem with it. Call them up directly and get this mess fixed.

I've heard nothing but good stuff from them. Try giving them a call and see what happens. They'll most likely straighten everything up and have you shipped back to you ASAP.

It finally showed up today. A month and a half to the day after I shipped it to them. I still havent gotten a reply to my last email asking what the status was with it.

Im still pretty pissed about their lack of communication. I would give their service a D-

I was going to do that today but I never got the time to do it. I tried calling on saturdya but they are not open weekends and yesterday was a holiday. Still I should not have to call them to talk to someone. If they are going to put a support email address on their website, they should respond to it within a reasonable amount of time.

Right. But if you e-mail and don't get an answer, the smart thing to do is CALL THEM and follow up rather than sit at home and complain about not having it. Light a fire under their ***!
