Hey guys and gals check out this link: www.lmctruck.com cliick on the ranger link and view the online catalog for some parts. I just got my free catalog in the mail that I requested. you'll find it very very interesting. Especially those who are planning to do a ground up restoration. I've spent nearly $4,000 from them on parts for my 1971 Chevy stepside...good company to deal with, highly suggested for cheaper quality parts.

They carry everything for the ranger and I also found out some info for this years model and past years as well. On the ford vehicles webpage this years XLT model has an optional coilover front suspension and years ago the had a 4 Cylnder diesel in the Ranger. LMC Truck has the actual turbochargers for it and the replacement glow plugs. They're constantly adding new stuff to their line up. Very good company to work with and knowledgable and friendly staff. I gave them a heads up on my project later on down the road and they want some photos of it. The reason is because it has never been done before.

They've gotta be the best Ranger parts supply out there. I looked on page 43 (I think it was 43) and I found that from 1983 to 1984 they have the Turbocharger from a 2.2 liter diesel ranger made here in the states. I had no idea they put a 4 banger diesel engine in the ranger back in the 80's. The only things they don't have are the cylinder heads for the 3.0 and a direct chassis replacement. I not really sure if those were the correct years or the page number, But I am sure that I indeed saw a turbocharger in there.

They're good people to work with. I got alot of knowledge and help from them when no one else would concerning my next project about what to expect out of the Hemi. I plan on putting a 5.7 litre Hemi with MDS in my ranger as soon as I get everything I need.
