Westin! What Happened?!

I polished both of these at the same time the same way and did everything the same to both of them and at the same time. I think it was because of the Ohio weather and the large deposits of salt on the sides of the road. but to be that far gone on one side and the other not have any rust what so ever....I just don't understand.

They have been on my truck for 8 years and I am just not getting how fast the passenger side got rusted.
Any insight? any possible replacement recommendations?

that side must have gotten scratched or something. Or the tube began to collect water..

I've had a westin bull bar for one winter now. It's looking pretty sad IMO. At this rate I don't expect it to last more than 3 years w/o showing sever rust.

That is why I got stainless steel step bars. I dont want to have to worry about rust down the line at least on the bars. The mounts on the other hand need a new coat of rust killer and paint here soon.

Ohio weather isnt the best for cars when you are tlaking about rust my friend.
