Icon14 Clutch City Online

Well my LUK clutch kit showed up today. I'm impressed.

My Centerforce kit never came with documentation like this:

I have a feeling I'll be seeing this a hole next year:

I'm happy with my purchase from Clutch City Online. $310 shipped to my door. I ordered on Tuesday and got it on Thursday. Centerforce was $400 plus shipping and didn't come with bearings or a slave cylinder. I wanted Spec but I could only afford this right now.

HAHA....gotta love it!

Why are you replacing the clutch right now anyway?? It's only got like a years use out of it right? When i did my last slave i left the SPEC in place as it only had about 15k on it.

The only reason I'm getting rid of the Centerforce is because it chatters like a mother and it heats up when you slip it even if its a little bit of slippage. Plus I have a bad felling I got brake fluid all over it when the slave went.

So I just got to work and it seems I have to rev it to about 1500 or so before I release the clutch to keep it from chattering so bad that every plastic in the cab rattle like crazy.

Old one chattered as well. I'm thinking there is fluid on the disk so its chattering worse. Where else is the fluid in the resivor going?

Well probably there too. The clutch never chattered this bad before. It started when the slave started going out.

The disk might but the slave probably wont. I have a feeling the slave is too weak to even handle a mild clutch upgrade.
