Yep I read the whole thing. He says it's subtle but noticeable at 192. And virtually indistinguishable at the higher rates, which I also use.

I think I quoted the part where he says that stuff....

Actually CD sound quality is far superior to mp3. unless we're talking about burned cds.

if your radio has USB or SD card try just putting mp3s straight on there and see if the sound changes.

you might want to check the bitrate of your files too. if they are low bitarte, 64kbps or even 128kbps it MAY be noticeable. I have mine set to encode as 320 when i import a cd. a lot of my files are...
