picked up this samurai today for $500. after washing it and alot of wax....i was suprized at how good the paint looks. it had been sitting for a while. plans are to build it in to a stricktly off-road rig. on to the pics

not a smart idea... ik a guy who used to have one and he said 4 cyl with the right gears are just find. he said if you put a big v8 in it all you do is turn it into a speed machine and start breakin **** bc of the power. especially with crawling and stuff. 4 cyl and gears is all that you need bc those things are torqy

Put something like like a 4.3 v6. Or a lighter weight 3.1/3.8 v6. Parts for those are everywhere. And they have all the low end torque that sucker will every need.

i saw one on craigslist a few weeks back that had a 350 in it and i thought it was funny
do propane on it or do a sidekick engine in it if you do anything. yota axles 5.29s and a 4:1 box and it will crawl good on 35s. also jeep yj sprins are good for the lift and are easy since the shackle is front mount.
