as indecisive as i am, i've decided what i want to do (i think!)

i was tossing around the idea of a roll bar or canvas camper shell

ultimately, brand new both of those are gonna cost more then i probably wanna spend.

but on craigslist. theres at least a half dozen fiberglass shells for sale. all in good shape under 200 bucks. i could score one of those, paint it flat black and put a nice rack on it and be set.

what do you guys think?

you need a cap for number of threads!!!! lol jk man..... i want a shell too i think they look BA get one for sure and the flat black would look sick to batch the hood and rims!!!! DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!

I have a shell for my truck and its one of the things I love about it. I can go camping and just throw a twin matress in the back. **** tents lol.

Also I have a Yakima boat rack for it, a 14 foot aluminum boat fits perfectly up there.

nice! i normally dont care for campers on stock trucks, but lifted ones i think they look ****!

Well thats a lot of paint to paint it. Just make sure its all even. Cuz sometimes you can get uneveness spraypainting something large....Other than that I say go for it. Why not put a turret in the top too!!..lol

The question is form over function. The roll bar will look cool, but won't really do anything, but the camper might look cool and will be useful.

can't wait to do this! first comes the wet okole seat covers to finish off the interior then i shall get a cap and paint it! then roof rack!

what do you guys think about this one? i have a wanted add on craigslist and this guy emailed me
its an aluminum one. up in the air. the color is good. but not sold on the style. the windows make it a bit better then most aluminum shells, but idk. could look badass with a nice roof rack on it...
