I still think you're making a mistake going with 4.56 instead of 4.88s!

I would go with Yukon gears but you need to talk to the shop who is going to install them. Some places charge extra for bringing your own parts, and will not warranty any of the work or products. Sometimes it is best to just have the shop order the parts and pay a few extra bucks in my opinion.

^^ Thats what I have. What gears do you gave now? If you have 4.10s now you wont notice much going to 4.56s.

I went 4.56s and 35s, it was ok but the best would be 4.88s.

Welcome to Complete Off Road has competitive prices and their brand gears are Yukons.

Check out Drivetrain Specialists East Coast Gear Supply, sometimes they come in a little cheaper than complete offroad.

i didnt read every post.
i ran 4.56 with 33's then went to 4.30s... i regret going with the 4.30.
you have 35s. go with 4.88 and regret nothing.

i bought my gears from quickperformance.com they sent me a 500 dollar set of Ford Racing gears when i only ordered a 150 dollar set of Motive gears.

you need to have the install kit for the IFS

MASTER INSTALL KIT DANA 35,K M35-IFS

8.8
MASTER INSTALL KIT FOR FORD 8.8, K F8.8

for the 8.8 they say you need a notched cross pin for the install, i have always just ground the pin/teeth down

I was told that on my truck (2006) that I would only need the mini install kits since I only have 50k miles on all my stuff. Just something to think about, can save some coin that way.
