I have a 1991 Ford Ranger 2.9L v6 4x4 its basically stock im hard pressed for cash and im trying to figure out what i should put on it to make it beastly im not worried so much about the engine but off-road performance. Im planning on getting a little lift i already lifted the back end by the torsion bars im soon to get mud tires and any other ideas id love to hear please feel free to give me some sudgestions!

 

Could you please post some pics of how you lifted the rear end by the torsion bars? I'm very excited to see this considering your truck doesn't have torsion bars, and if it did they would be in the front.

If you want to lift it for off road save up a little bit and buy a Rough Country lift. The cost around 500 for your truck and will add some flex and 4" of lift done the right way.
