i dont think they are capable of that type of programming. at least from reading about Bob's swap he had to use the ford tools at the dealer

anyone know anything about American Muscle? The reason I ask is two weeks ago I never heard of them. Now I see the name everywhere. I was searching for stuff for a 4.6 3valve and they popped up a bunch. Searched for stuff for my mach 1- same thing.

They are on a roll. Pretty cool for Bama. Its a testament to the brand he created -that they would use his name for their tuning launch.

I have never heard of them. I just felt it needed to be posted over here because there are several members that have bought from him and have no one else to get their tuning done. This gives them the option and for free!

They used to have a different name and had to change it. IIRC, and may be wrong, it was like Mustang Tuning or something.

Sounds weird, but a guy told me he talked to someone there and they said they're not doing any tunes for Rangers. Doesn't make sense though.

thats interesting but it also makes sense at the same time, they are geared more towards the mustang crowd... The e-mail I received said that anyone who bought an SCT ttuner or chip from them will receive free tunes for life... there wasnt any models or makes exceptions

Doug was once known as one of the best Ranger tuners ever, I am sure he still has that talent and I cant see them giving that up. The only thing Doug failed with was Customer Service, he had no way to keep track of everything and it just got too big.

Not to mention Doug still tunes for EE (Explorer Express)

I'll have to keep this in mind if I end up with a F150 instead of a 250 next year.

I've ordered quite a bit of stuff from them when I had my 88' GT, great customer service and products. They sent the wrong cable and quadrant the first time so they had the right one immediately sent and delivered with the prepaid return of the wrong stuff. Couldn't be happier with them, but that was about 1-1/2 years ago.

It's great to see that Doug is back on track, or so it seems. Whether or not he will be tuning anything other than Mustangs is a question. I also recieved the email, but I am a little confused. I personally got screwed out of a tuner and tunes when Doug took a turn for the worst earlier this year. He emailed all outstanding orders saying he couldn't fill any of them. I had to file with my bank to get my money back. Sure I got my money, but where does that leave me now? However, it is not like I would order again from him, I will use another vendor. Really weird situation. He won't be getting my business, but I do wish him luck.
