Aftermarket mods?

Iv got a 1999 ranger and I was wondering if it is possible to put aftermarket mods on it from the 1993-1997 ranger aftermarket mods? I seem to have trouble finding mods for 1999 rangers and I see many mods for the 1993-1997 rangers. I know that the websites say the model year(1993-1997) the mods can fit on but Iv also heard that that doesnt really matter, that you can fit a 1993-1997 mod on a 1999 ranger.
