I just purchased a t-rex billet for my 97 ranger. Ive been struggling trying to get it in for several hours now.

I know i have to cut the top molding of the stock grille

I just cant manage to get my hands behind the grille to get the bolts through the holes. It says to use the stock mounting holes but yet the bottoms dont line up to the tabs on the new grille.

Im assuming i will have to drill new holes?
And how do i then get my hands behind the grille?
