Yea, I removed mine. I had to step farther to step over them. Only thing they are good for is scrubbing the roof of the cab, but you can open the door and do that. I say remove them, it looks a lot better. If you have mudflaps... remove those too.

Yeah Thats all I use them for is when I wash and wax it...

I was thinking of removing the flaps but Im not to sure about the whole thats leftover and also I hear alot of people with stepsides find cracks under the flaps and I hate finding new problems

I'd remove them! I just put some on mine, but they're the factory black straight ones. I've got them because my truck is too hard for my fiance to get in. If you don't need them, there's no use having them!

Remove them and send them my way. My 5'2" GF keeps complaining about the height of my truck, and when i lift it, itll be harder for her to get in.

Yeah, same here.. I was thinking about getting me a set pretty soon (before my lift) because my lil *** fiancè has to hop to get in and hates it, lol. Glad Im not the only one who has that problem.. Having seconds thoughts now, never really took the time to look at them on a ranger. Didnt think those nerf bars look too bad tho...

I really want rock sliders, that will double as nerf bars. When I have the money, i'll talk to beard about getting a set made...

I think I might take them off sometime this week then. I will keep them in the Garage for a little while to make sure my girl or my mom doesnt have a problem getting in and out..

i took mine off. when it gets raised, they'll go back on since my girl is short. i too was finding that with them on, i was stepping around them instead of on them and found it difficult.
