How does your Ranger ride?
I am posting this here instead of the "suspension" forum because I would like a "general concensus" of how a Ranger should ride.
I have a '98, regular cab, Sport with a 3.0 V6. I have only had it less than two months, but it seems to me that it rides very rough. I can feel every little bump in the road. The shocks are probably the original ones. Total mileage is 108,440. BTW, two (2) wheel drive.
I have a friend that is very good mech, and told me that all Rangers are "very rough riding". When I cross a railroad track near here, which is a fairly smooth RR crossing, it feels like my front wheel are bouncing all over the place...is this normal?

like your on a roller coaster. i swear every vehicle ive ever drove in takes bumps 10 times better than mine. i feel every bump in the road lol sometime i think someone replaced my shocks with steel poles lol but is a truck, im not expecting a caddy ride on a truck.
X2 lol... Time for coilovers haha!
Like an F350--Damn torsion bars! I need coil-overs BADLY! Cranked 1-codes and a heavy wheel & tire combo certainly don't help matters. My fifth Ranger though, so I knew what I was getting into.
