Are 35" Tires too big

I bought my truck already lifted with 35/12.5/15 BFG A/T tires. It's a 94 2wd that I'm trying to do prerunner style. I like the way the fronts look with the lift but I'm not sold on the rear. Most of my truck buddys agree that the tires look too big. Do you guys think I should go with some 33" instead?

it looks alright to me. It does look a little big in the rear. I dont know, buy or borrow some cheap 33's and mount em to see what they look like. If they look good, then buy some nice ones hehe

put shackles in the rear to bring it up just a bit... it won't bring the back up to make it level with the front...

you are trying to compare fiberglass to stock. order some fiberglass bed sides and your option will change

^ I agree with that, but still think they look a little big for the prerunner look.

why not you try pushing out your bed sides. it gives you the prerunner look and helps you not rub the **** out of your tires. plus you can do the angled cut toward the bottom of your tail gate and will make your truck look tons better. its free and whats the worst that can happen... you eff it up and get glass sides any way...

pull the bedsides b4 u buy glass, 2x4 and the stock ranger jack are the perfect tools, or pay a shop. since the front glass already doesnt match i guess it wont look much worse. 35's are gonna put more wear and tear on your **** but mob deep

I agree, keep the 35s and either pull and cut the bedsides or get fiberglass bed sides. You aren't driving it with 3 lug nuts on a wheel are you?

No, I don't drive the truck with 3 wheel studs, it hasn't moved since the day the tow truck dropped it off when I bought it. I am planning on pulling the fenders and cutting the bottom rear, I just need to get a welder and a cut off wheel.

if you pull the side for the love of god dont use a jack! cut the small supports that keep the shape and use some kinda filler to push them out.

I saw a how-to on Youtube, they did it to a S-10 but I guess it's the same concept. Cut the inside and weld some metal tabs to hold the bedside in place.
