Wheel spacers Couple questions??
OK i have a 93 ford ranger and its lifted 4in and i want a wider look but dont wanna spend the money on a long travel kit are wheel spacers save? and what kind would you recommened need some help. Thanks
wheel spacers got a bad rep from their early production mistakes, but there isnt a huge3 problem using them as long as you dont over due it.
I used 1" spacers on my truck for a couple yrs and never had a huge problem aside from constant alignment adjustments.

2" is the absolute max I would go, but Im with Nathan and wouldnt go above 1.5"
and yes, adapters that utilize the same bolt pattern is the way to go (most call them spacers because they dont actually change the bolt pattern, but they are actually more along the lines of adapters)
