98. 4.0 do not seem to be getting voltage to coil. anyone know where the voltage comes from and how to check that componet Thanks for the help

 

check the fuse box on the drivers side engine compartment

look for the ignition coil relay, put finger on it and have someone crank the engine over
you should feel vibration from it

could be a defective relay also check the ignition relay fuse
