Pool Bed/Cooler
I was outside yesturday and saw my truck bed 1/4 full of water and thought humm this would make an alsome mobile pool if I sealed The tailgate area? Then thought of inslating the bed and the bed cover and throw some ice back there. A huge mobile cooler.

You have two ideas going here, a mobile pool and a big *** cooler.
1. Pool might work but it's gonna sag the **** outta the bed too. You don't really need a ton of water though. Just some good lookin girls.
2. Cooler isn't a bad idea but honestly its gonna cost something like 60$ in bags of ice at the store to fill it up. If you had a bed insulated with foam though that would be sick cause it would last for a month then if you did it right.

I thought about doing the same thing to the super duty. I was going to put some kind of tarp/rubber/plastic material down and somehow attach it underneath my bed rails and to the tail gate so I could remove it later.
My other idea was to make a hitch that held a BBQ grill at tail gate height so you can cook and swim.

Just like a pool liner and form it to the bed.
this has been talked about before here. in order for this to really be practical to do you would need to refill the bed with water everytime you go somewhere. having all that water in the bed while driving will make the truck sag like a **** and the sloshing water will be a ***** to control and stop

Haha...sure would be a suprise to anyone behind you when they get smashed with 100 gallons of water sloshing over the tailgate...

Last Brad Paisley concert we had an F-150 with pond liner in the bed and it was filled to the lip with water.
Was a great idea until the water fight took an unexpected turn when some jackass opened the tailgate and the water dumped all over the place, turned it into a huge muddy swamp...

i put a blue tarp in my bed over the summer and filled it up and all i can say is good luck taking a turn. all the truck wanted to do was go straight. when i did turn it was very tipsy the bed did not sag as much as i was expecting it to. having a black truck i let it sit for 8 hours in the 90* heat the water was around 75. my girls little cousins had fun playing back there till one sliced their leg on the rolled on bed liner haha

i was at the rascal flatts concert and a guy rolled up with the bed full of water and a tonneau over the top by the time he got there he had half the bed left lol he said it was full when he left still pretty cool stuff

idea. put tarp in bed, throw some dirt in there, add water and some fish.
