Bedlinerless pics..

Went out and pulled the factory bedliner from my '03 that has been in there since new since I'm going to try to get it sprayed with Line-X this week. Wasn't as bad as I expected but there were some bare metal spots and a couple spots of rust starting to bubble the paint. Lots of dirt and stuff like mulch and leaves under it. I took these pics after I washed it out. I hate bedliners!!

That's not bad at all for 7 years with a bedliner! You'll love the Line-X!

ur bed looks pretty perfect, quit whining, grab some sandpaper and get rid of the rust. Dents are okay too, i have lotsa of them, its from being a winner.

I had it my other Ranger and loved it. Great stuff. And yeah, it does really look good for having the drop-in in the truck since day 1. I was expecting complete carnage under there. I'm going to try to get it done this week. Just Emailed all the Line-X places within about 50 miles (there are 4 around here) to see who can get me the best price. I gotta go over the rail since there are some scratches too deep to polish out on top of the bedrails and I'm sure I wont regret doing it. Probably go for the UV protectant too.

I was talking to my neighbor last night about this. He's a mechanic at a big shop around here. Anyway, a landscaping company brought in an '04 F150 company truck that was having fuel pump problems, check engine light, etc. He said it had a bedliner in it and there was so much wet stuff underneath it it had actually rusted holes in the bed floor and dirty water and filth was dripping down on the fuel pump and the top of the fuel tank and ruined the pump. I guess if you use your truck hard hauling mulch and dirty stuff all the time a drop-in is a bad idea.
